Boys swim gained their fourth league title Feb. 11 and 16 went on to the state championship at Newton on Feb. 19, winning 10th place overall.

The team took 7th in the 200 medley relay and 8th in the 400 relay. 

Freshmen divers Aiden Kinzel, Blayne Lock, and sophomore Mykal Berry went to state for the first time.

“It was really fun, it was a really good experience, I can’t wait for next year,” said Berry.

Senior Will McCabe took 2nd in both his individual events, the 100 free and 200 IM, by hundredths of a second. He got the 100 free record and received an all-state medal. 

“I did pretty good, the best I have done,” senior Will McCabe said.
