One act rehearsals start
March 4, 2022
On April 7 a show of special shorts will be put on at school. A show of three one-acts. All student directed and performed.
One-act plays are short stories that are told on stage in only one act.
On Feb. 24 rehearsals started for the show.
“There’s not much else besides just choosing the show, holding auditions, casting and the beginning production,” junior Cassidy Barker said.
Barker is co-directing one of the acts with junior River Ott.
“I enjoy direction because I get to work with a group of people I might not ordinarily talk to. I get to know everyone better and it’s awesome when you see all the hard work everyone put in to pay off,” Ott said.
Barker is also enjoying the show in her own way.
“The ability to show people a story with our own twist… it’s a form of art, expression.”
