Forensics and debate have once again placed, this time nationally.

“It feels really good to qualify because I’ve been working really hard on my events and it feels great for all that work to really pay off,” junior Shardae Sanders. “Seriously, I love being able to spread ideas I have in my head verbally and to a large audience.”

These students performed in two different national organization competitions.

National Speech and Debate Association:

Policy Debate – Chloe Johnson/Naomi Island

Senate – Ethan Johnson

Alternates:

Policy Debate – Jayden Moreno/Devon Rux – 1st Alternates

Senate – Shardae Sanders – 1st Alternate

National Catholic Forensic League:

NSDA still has one more competition on April 22 and 23 where forensics advisor Lynn Miller is hoping for more qualifiers.
