Airbrush Parent Night

After completing the night of fun and airbrushing, students signed their name as the “instructor” and awarded the certificate to their parents for completing the night of airbrushing with them.

“It was super to see my kids interacting with their parents in such a fun way. We will definitely be doing more of this in the future,” Roger Scovell said.

On May 5, students were able to once again invite their parents to the airbrush room K-7, for the Airbrush Parent Night which hasn’t happened for a while.

The students ran it all. They showed their parents how to set the airbrush equipment up, how to control it and how to clean it. A week prior, students created the Water Drop project. This is the project they taught their parents.

“It was fun to watch my kids use the same terminology as I use in class during the lessons. It was also interesting to hear them say ‘teaching someone to do this is more difficult than I thought,” Scovell said.

Students and their parents worked together and now have physical memories to take home after a fun airbrush night.
