The Panthers pitching corps was top-notch.

Two of their top pitchers – senior Saben Seager, far right, and junior Mitchell Johnson, middle right – threw well. Johnson and Seager struggled with injuries, but several others stepped up, including junior Kade Sheldon, far left, and Cayden Brown, middle left. 

“Kade Sheldon has done a really good job on the mound,” coach Todd Olmstead said. “Brown has been the biggest surprise on the mound this year,” Olmstead said. 

The team’s ERA was an impressive 2.44.
