On Saturday, November 4, Derby music students from the band, orchestra and choir programs auditioned for the District Honor ensembles. 

The students chosen for the district band and orchestra ensembles will have the opportunity to audition for the state ensembles. Choir students chosen will not audition again and state ensembles will be chosen from the district ensembles. 

27 DHS students were chosen to participate in these groups, who all have performances coming up in December.
