Morgan Henning Wins Girls 6A State Bowling

After a long season junior Morgan Henning brings home Derby’s first ever Girls bowling state championship.

Henning had her highest ever overall with a 717 series. She also had her highest individual game bowling a 257.

¨I feel amazing and i’m so excited. This has been my dream since I was little and one of my biggest goals ever,¨ Henning said.

Henning bowled over a 300 pin different from last year this year at state.

¨ I practice in all of my free time. I worked a lot in the summer and before the season started. So now being able to see it makes me really proud of myself,” Henning said

Henning will be returning in 2024 as a senior looking for a second state championship.
