Q: How do you feel about there being a C-team for softball now?

A: “I feel that having a C-team is very beneficial to the future of the Derby softball program. It gives girls more time and opportunities to develop for the JV and varsity levels as they continue to play through high school.”

Q: I heard that the team fundraised to play at Decarsky Park?

A: “Decarsky has been great. Although, we do have grass outfields, the infield turf is great for consistency when it comes to ground balls and other infield plays.”

Q: What did you guys have to do to earn money?

A: “Through many fundraisers such as Chick-fil-A and Chipotle night, along with a calendar square fundraiser, we were able to raise $7,500 so that we could play there for the duration of our entire season. We are all very excited for this season.”
