Softball: Derby’s softball team plays against Manhattan at 5 p.m on Thursday in the Class 6A quarterfinals. If the Panthers win, they will play the winner of Olathe West-Olathe North in the semifinals on Friday.

Baseball: On Thursday, the Panthers will play Topeka at 1:15 p.m. If they win, they’ll play the winner of Manhattan-Blue Valley North.
