Four girl’s tennis players qualified for state on Oct 7.
Both varsity doubles teams qualified.
Doubles team senior Ayanna Wright and junior Isabella Nikolova qualified.
Seniors Emerson Godwin and Kyler Demel also qualified in doubles.
“I was very excited and felt very accomplished,” senior Kyler Demel said.
Demel’s main goal this year was to qualify for state in tennis.
“Emerson, my doubles partner, and I both worked very hard with that in the back of our minds,” Demel said.
Demel feels ready to compete at state.
“I’m very excited to compete against some of the best in the state,” Demel said.
