Following AVCTL league at Salina on Oct. 13, cross country is gearing up to compete at regionals at Cessna Activity Center on Oct. 21.
At league, Lucas Kreutzer placed eighth, Landen Tucker 17th, James Lyman 18th and Ben Perry 19th. For girls, Piper Hula took second.
Girls will race at 10:35 a.m. and boys will race at 11:45. The top three teams by points will qualify for state, along with the top ten individual runners with the possibility of additional runners being added.
State is Oct. 28 at Rim Rock Farm in Lawrence.
