On the night of Oct. 26, the Derby high school AFJROTC drill team traveled to East high school and performed at the drill competitions.

The Individual Drill Down, or the IDD competition, had more than 100 cadets from other schools participate. This performance demonstrates and challenges the ability of the cadets separately.

Derby’s Marquise Williams took third.

The Unarmed Drill Regulation is a team composition that features 10 cadets in which Derby took first place.

For the overall drill regulation category, Derby took first.

First-year cadets prevailed in the competition as well.
