At this year’s South Central Scholastic Art Awards, over 2,000 pieces were submitted and judged. Three students from Derby received honorable mentions.
Junior Piper Hula received an honorable mention for the piece “Heritage Vessel”.
Junior Grace Summers received an honorable mention for the piece “Miyazaki Nesting Doll Set”.
Senior Haly Washburn received an honorable mention for the pieces “In Knots” and “Ungraspable”.
