Football prepared for tough test at Carroll

Tonight, two of Kansas’ most distinguished football programs will battle for bragging rights.
“If we play them how I know we can, then we’ll beat them pretty good,” senior Bryce Westmoreland said.
Derby is 3-0 and has outscored teams 167-13.
Derby has beaten Garden City 49-6, Salina Central 63-0 and Newton 55-7.
Meanwhile, the Bishop Carroll Eagles are 2-1 after losing their season opener 23-22 against Wichita Northwest. Carroll has won its last two games against Wichita Heights and Wichita West.
Kickoff is 7 p.m. at Carroll.
