The class of 2019 is a highly talented class.

Four seniors planned to sign letters of intent to play sports at Division I colleges today — Tor’e Alford, Missouri State basketball; Kennedy Brown, Oregon State basketball; Cade Lindsey, Oklahoma State wrestling; and Triston Wills, Oklahoma State wrestling.

Wills won a title in February, while Lindsey was a runner-up in Class 6A.

Alford and Brown led the Panthers to a girls basketball title in March.

“We’ve spent a lot of time together training and this has been a dream of ours for a long time,” Wills said. “… We’ve been going to Oklahoma State for practices since middle school, so it’s always been a place that we’ve loved.”

Since the two are wrestling partners every day, they push each other constantly to get better.

“We push each other a lot physically,” Wills said. “… When one of us gets beat, we always make sure that each other knows that we’re always here and we’re going to overcome those losses.”
