Last week, I went to Texas with Mylee Godwin, Brett Jones and Mrs. Schock. This might seem like a fun little excursion, but we were there on business — that Uno game was very intense.

We were there to visit the University of Texas at Austin. We wanted to observe the environment of Austin and the college.

The first thing I discovered was that Austin is like a mini-California. It seemed like everyone we met was a hipster. There were so many vegan and organic options in the stores. I would never have know that if I didn’t go to Texas.

“I didn’t know that there were such bad drivers,” Mylee Godwin said. “I didn’t expect it to be that warm, either.”

Texas was an experience. If you’re planning to apply to a college, go visit it before you waste money on the admission fee.
