Kansas Scholastic Press Association has a competition every month where students submit photos, videos, writing and design in different categories.

For November, yearbook senior video editor Brett Jones placed third for KSPA’s Multimedia Storytelling. Jone’s video was a feature of  golfer Emma Johnson.

Yearbook sports editor Regina Waugh placed first and third for sports photography. Regina’s photos were from Derby’s win in the Class 6A championship game.
