Tonight the Derby Panthers take on Salina Central at 7 p.m. in Salina. The Panthers and the Mustangs both have a record of 1-0 this season.

The Panthers had a big win last Friday, scoring 48-19 against Garden City, but has prepared for this game different than the last.

“Salina has a fast aggressive defense so we have been working on blocking through the whistle a lot this week,” senior wide receiver Cavion Walker said.

Next Friday the Panthers will be playing at home against the Newton Railers.
