Grant Adler and Lem Wash, the Panthers’ two dominant quarterbacks, were both in action Friday night.

Both quarterbacks switched off after every two series — and neither missed a beat in Derby’s 49-13 win over West in the regional championship of Class 6A.

An early fumble by Lem Wash at the one-yard line was all the motivation he needed, as he went on to score four touchdowns.

“I started off slow, but my teammates picked me up,” Wash said.

Wash had 115 passing yards, while Adler had 106. Washington had 101 rushing yards.

The Panthers cruised, as their defense forced three turnovers, and their offense began to click on all cylinders.

Junior Reid Liston and Cavion Walker each had a good game, as they both added a touchdown.
