DHS teacher Alexis Tatrow has stepped down as the Panthers’ bowling coach to pursue her professional bowling career.

“I bowled professionally for five years after college,” said Tatrow, who competed at Wichita State.

She said that she loved bowling professionally but had other goals.

“I had other life goals that I wanted to do first, and they were important to me — I got my Master’s degree, got married — they were milestones in my life,” she said.

Tatrow’s bowling career is now just now re-starting where she left off. She has more goals and plans for her life as her bowling career takes off.

“Once my goals are accomplished, I just set new ones,” she said.

Her former assistant coach, Brent Cunningham, is now the Panthers’ bowling coach.
