Basketball faces off against rival Campus

It’s Campus week for the boys and girls basketball teams.

The Panthers girls (5-1) kick off the start of two games tonight at 6 when they face off against their rivals, who are 1-5.

At about 7:30 p.m., the game of the week — if not the year — will kick off between the Class 6A No. 1-ranked Campus Colts and No. 2-ranked Derby Panthers. Rankings are courtesy of the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association.

Both teams are 6-0.

The Panthers boys lost twice in 2018-19 to the Campus Colts for the first time since the AVCTL was formed.

Derby looks to bounce back and reclaim their throne over their rivals.
