Carrie Sharpe’s class sings a song about Spanish prepositions and dances along.

Soon after the Spanish students hold balloons and position them according to their words. They chant words like enfrente and dereche as they place the balloons in front and on the back of their body.

Sophomore Samantha Lees is enthusiastic about the activity. “It was a really fun activity and it felt good since it’s different from what we usually do in class,” Lees said.

Freshman Kylee Tretheway agrees, ” It was fun, I had a lot of fun doing it.”

Freshman Emilie Elms encourages her friend to guess the Spanish preposition for her balloon.
