The football team plays at Newton tonight at 7. Both teams are 0-1.

The Panthers are coming off of a tough loss against Mill Valley, the defending Class 5A champs, and will be looking to bounce back when they take on their AVCTL foes. 

Derby’s 45-14 loss at Mill Valley was its worst loss since 2010 and its first loss since losing to BV North in the 2017 6A title game. The Panthers had a 26-game winning streak.
