Ending lunches with a classic tray

Reese Cowden, Design Team

Last lunch of the school year.

Keeping it light and simple.

A classic uncrustable with your choice of fruits, vegetables, a green dino cookie, tortilla chips, juice and milk.

“It’s quite immaculate,” junior Gavyn Abshire said. “Being someone who personally has eaten PB&J mostly every day this entire school year, I think it’s fitting that it should end with my common lunch.

“It’s kind of emotional because the entirety of first semester, I would sit in B hall and eat alone and it was quite peaceful. Not to mention, the peanut butter and jelly is also reminiscent of my younger childhood days, so I believe that the peanut butter and jelly is a good last day of school lunch.”

Junior Connor Sevick did not agree.

“It kind of sucks, but I can understand why,” he said. “Like, I think they just have a billion of those things.”
