Vandenbrink: First taste of Chipotle thrills the taste buds

Kierra Vandenbrink

Is it possible to crave a food you’ve never tasted? Just two short weeks ago, the night before school, I was craving Chipotle for dinner even though I’d never had it.

When I walked in I was greeted by the scent of greasy tortillas. I decided to order a chicken burrito with white rice, corn salsa, queso, shredded lettuce and cheese.

It was fascinating to watch how fast the employee could put it together while still making it look neat.

After paying and getting my drink, I sped home, hungry and eager for what was awaiting me in the bag.

I tore into the foil blanket and sunk my teeth into the biggest burrito I’ve ever had.

I didn’t think food was capable of making me so ecstatic, but I was literally dancing. Chipotle is a favorite now to say the least.
