The new vocab that has popped up recently in some teenagers’ dialogue is strangely just the letter ‘P’.

Junior Samuel Same is infatuated with the word and uses it frequently.

“P is directly translated ‘playa’ but ‘pushin P’ has the connotation of pushing positivity,” he said. “Anything positive is identified as P, such as obtaining one’s goals or helping others reach theirs. Also supporting yourself and those you value is P.”

The people that use P have also changed it into just saying that something is good for them and pushing p means that they are doing good now.

“I use pushing P to tell people that I’m doing good, how I am,” junior Quincy Masumbu said.
