Sophomore Elizabeth Borton is pretty sure she had a few heart attacks during the Kansas City Chiefs’ playoff game on Sunday night.

In the final 13 seconds of regulation, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes led his team into field goal position to tie the score at 36-all in the final seconds.

The Chiefs got the ball first in overtime, and Mahomes hit Travis Kelce for an eight-yard touchdown pass to win the game and advance to the AFC Divisional Championship.

“I thought it was a really intense game. The Chiefs really clutched it up,” sophomore Jayden Harris said.

“It was really close,” sophomore Elizabeth Borton said. “… Everybody is throwing a fit about how the over time was stupid. It is fair, it has been fair for the past years.”
