Childhood best friends

Growing up with someone your whole life can make good trust and communication.

As for juniors Andy Nguyen and Lynn Tran it was a way for them to form a relationship.

They are currently dating, but they were friends for 12 years.

“We were both in the same kindergarten class,” Nguyen said.

Though childhood best friends can have their differences.

“We’ve been friends since kindergarten, but our friendship was on and off in middle school. I  cared way too much about popularity in middle school so I did not talk to him that much but we became friends again in high school,” Tran said.

“Lynn was too cool for me in middle school,’ Nguyen said.

But perhaps it’s because of their act of kindness.

“My childhood best friend is Reagan Olmsted, one time we were at the park and I didn’t really know her but I’m just really spontaneous like that so I asked her to be friends with me and from there we’ve become friends and now her mom loves me,” Kari Ky said.

Maybe it’s because of personality connections.

“I met my best friend in fourth grade through another friend. We’ve grown to know more and more about each other. My favorite thing about my best friend is that he is always happy and making funny jokes,” Max Tayrien said
