Snow days allowed for recharged students

With three consecutive snow days last week, students decided to spend it however they wanted.

Junior Chloe Palivan took the days for herself.

“I definitely slept in and ate a ton of junk food,” Palivan said. “I also shoveled the snow and played in it, and I watched movies.”

The temperatures over the break were below freezing, allowing ice to stick under the snow.

While the days were enjoyable, there were drawbacks as well.

“I love schools giving us snow days because it’s a much-needed break,” Palivan said. “I don’t think they should give us too many or we risk falling behind in classwork.”

While coming back to school this week may be hard for students, the break was sorely needed for some.
