Golf beginning of season update

With the beginning of spring sports, golfers are finally heading back to the green fields.

Even at the beginning of the season, golf coach Timothy Herrs is already keeping track of who his best players are.

“I have one senior: Kayden Egan,” Herrs said. “Jaydon Carruthers is probably the best golfer we have.”

He also is keeping his eye on non-senior players this year.

“The rest are very close in their scoring average so it depends on the meet as to who else is playing well,” Herrs said. “Some names that will show up the rest of the season are Knowlyn Egan, Nate Pierce, Ty Johnson and Cael Asman.”
