Baseball advances to Class 6A tournament

The Panthers baseball team is going to state.

After a winning their first game against Wichita East 5-0 in the regional semifinal, the Panthers moved on to the regional championship.

Panthers starting pitcher Mitchell Johnson threw a shutout in the 10-0 win over Topeka, punching their ticket to the Class 6A tournament.

They will play at Fort Scott’s LaRoche Baseball Complex on May 26-27.
