Boys swimming won the AVCTL I league meet on Saturday for the fifth straight year.

“Once they announced who won, it was an amazing feeling,” junior Daxon Flanders said. “It showed that all our hard work has paid off.” 

Several swimmers got to have a turn on the podium, with several second and third place finishes. 

After the announcement, there was the traditional celebration.

400 Meter Freestyle Relay : 2nd Place – Gavin Morton, Dominic Espinoza, Aiden Thornburg and Jared Hays 

200 Medley Relay: 2nd Place – Kooper Weaver, Jared Hays, Aiden Thornburg and Dominic Espinoza 

200 Meter Freestyle Relay: 3rd Place: – Gavin Morton, Ayden McFarren, Trent Black and Kooper Weaver

200 Meter Freestyle: 2nd Place – Jared Hays, 3rd Place – Aiden Thornburg

200 Meter Individual Medley: 3rd Place – Dominic Espinoza 

100 Meter Breaststroke: 2nd Place – Dominic Espinoza

100 Meter Backstroke: 2nd Place – Aiden Thornburg 

100 Meter Freestyle: 3rd Place – Gavin Morton

100 Meter Butterfly: 2nd Place Jared Hays, 3rd Place – Kooper Weaver

50 Meter Freestyle: 2nd Place & State Qualifier  – Gavin Mortion
