What do you think when you see people sitting on the floor at lunch? Do you wonder why they decide to sit on the floor instead of sitting at a table? It’s quite common to see people sitting on the floor whilst there are plenty of open tables.

A friend group decided to sit on the floor during 5th lunch period near the PE classrooms.

When asked why they sit on the floor Serena Hays, 9th grade said,” I don’t like people.” And Sarah Ashley,12th grade said,” Because I’m antisocial.”

They all sit in a circle doing homework and watching videos on their computer. 

Some people just want to sit with their friends or to get away from the noise. The other two in their friend group Landon Maness,9th said “We just sit here to sit with our friend group” and Anothy Scott, 9th agreed 

Serena, Sarah, Landon, and Anthony are able to hear each other better and have made other friends who also sit on the floor near them. It sets them apart from the other kids and makes them unique.
