In Biomedical teacher Kathleen O’Brien’s class, students are dissecting sheep hearts.

“One of the units in the principles biomedical path is cardiovascular, so we are studying the heart. Being able to look at the heart and see the structures is different then looking at a picture of it,” O’Brien said.

Heart dissection is a yearly opportunity for students to learn the anatomy of the human heart.
