The first semester of our 2012-2013 school year is coming to a close soon, December is  going by fast. Most of us will return in January and continue here until May. There are some seniors however, that will be leaving and not coming back next semester. Early graduates are anxiously waiting for Dec. 20, 2012 their last day at DHS as a student.

“I’m going to get a full time job,” senior Brieanna Commodore said.  “I plan to attend Butler next fall, so I needed this time to save up money if I want to move out.”

Some graduates are planning to get jobs, start college, or just enjoy life with the extra time they will have. However, a majority of them will be missing out on second semester activities. They will still have the option to go to activities like prom but most won’t have the option to join sports teams.

All of early graduating seniors here at DHS will be missed but, will hopefully see them next semester for prom and walk to get their diplomas on May 11.
