The 2013 year came just like any other. How ever 2013 meant more to the senior class around the world than it did to others. With the New Year here, some decided to make a list of resolutions that they wanted to accomplish throughout the year.

“I don’t make new years resolutions,” substitute teacher Pearl Sholts said. “If I don’t make one I won’t fail it”.

A New Years resolution literally means that a person is going to ‘resolve’ to make a portion of their lives more fulfilling. Resolutions help many form a plan to achieve a goal that they may have made earlier and with all the new ads and commercials promising to help kick start peoples news years resolution, it can get a bit tricky.

“Mine is to win more wrestling matches and to do my best during baseball tryouts,” freshman Garrett Xanders said.

Resolutions came in many different forms, from weight loss to saving money. What ever the New Years resolution is, they are made to help someone accomplish their goals.
