From the classrooms to the hall, hacky sack has taken over it all.
For some, hacky sack is just a game. For others, it’s a lifestyle.
“Wake up: sack. Go to sleep: sack. Eat: sack. That’s all I do,” sophomore Wesley Grady said.
A game first made popular in the 1980s has finally found its way back to social media fame.
“I’m not really sure what made us start playing, but me and a buddy just did, and it was a load of fun,” sophomore William Tucker said.
It is a game for all to play.
It can be played in small groups or big.
“I just started out having fun with my friends, and it’s just a game that a big group can play and have fun no matter their skill level,” junior Carter Valentine said.
Multiple people have been looking for places to find a hacky sack.
“I’ve gone to three different stores to look for one, and no matter what, they are always gone,” sophomore Gunner Jones said.
This trend is similar to the NeeDohs — no one is able to find them.
“These people that are buying out the hacky sack,” Jones said. “This is the greed they talk about in the Bible.”
