If you have time to spare and are looking for fun, join the ASL 2 class and Panther Paws club for their annual Sign Language Splash.

The free event is from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at Madison Avenue Central Park on Friday.

More than 200 teachers, interpreters, Deaf individuals, students with hearing loss and students who are learning ASL are expected along with others from around Derby and Wichita.

At the Splash, you can practice and learn more signs and make connections in the Deaf community.

There will be indoor and outdoor games, including the splash park, as well as a talent show from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

There’s also a potluck lunch.
