It was a successful week for team competition as April is coming to a end.

*Softball faced Hutchinson on Friday and got the sweep 19-2 an 18-0.

*Baseball faced Hutchinson on Friday, winning the first game 7-5 and dominating the second 11-0.

*Girls soccer faced Newton at home on Tuesday and won 1-0.

On Thursday the girls played at home again against top-ranked Maize and lost 1-0.

*Girls swim went to Emporia on Thursday and took second overall behind McPherson.

*Track headed to Ark City on Friday for an invitational.

Girls took first while boys took second behind Campus.

*Boys varsity tennis had three invitationals last week. Topeka on Monday, Campus on Wednesday and Conway Springs on Thursday. AVCTL tennis was today, while regionals are on Friday for a chance to go to state.

*Boys varsity golf had its only home invitational on Monday and another invitational on Friday in Hutchinson.
