The Panthers clinched the No. 1 seed in the West with a 51-7 victory over Carroll.
The defense continued its exceptional performance, allowing just seven points in the blowout.
“The defense’s job is to not give up points, obviously,” linebacker Kikoa Indalecio said. “We take pride in the little things, though. We want to give up as few yards as possible, and that’s what makes our defense so special this year.”
Senior quarterback Drew Kemp led the offense with 51 points and four touchdowns, two rushing on 79 yards and two passing with 193 yards.
Sophomore running back Arieus Finley had two touchdowns as well as 127 yards.
Junior James Middlebrook and senior Rowan Foster also scored, with Foster catching a pass from Kemp to score 7-0. Middlebrook made a 60-yard punt return in the second quarter.
The Panthers will play the 16-seed Campus on Nov. 1.
