Junior Taylor Chapman, who has been involved in art throughout high school, went to Cooper Elementary today for the second time to deliver portraits to kindergarteners. Chapman is a part of Amy Garza’s art class.

“I love seeing them react to their portraits,” Chapman said.

During class students use a reference photo taken by the teacher and students create a masterpiece.

“Painting people can be hard,” Chapman said

But after the children received a gift that will never be forgotten, there were more fun memories ahead.

“After they saw their photos we ate ice cream and played at recess,” Chapman said.
