Derby High School Publication Social Media Editors, sophomores Abbie Villarreal and Olivia Grosser, interview students for videos on the Derby Publications Instagram Account.

The videos/reels get a little look inside the halls of Derby High School of students sharing their thoughts on thanksgiving the day before fall break, on Friday, Nov. 21. Grosser is the face of the interviews, holding a mini mic interviewing students, and Villarreal behind the camera covering our students in the classroom.

Some of the students interviewed were in Philharmonic Choir when interviewed, those students were: Brittyn Williams, Noah Weaver, Faith Kick, Violet Barger, Sophie Segelke, and Henry Blagg. Another video was students in the halls, and students outside of their classes after lunch, the students were asked their favorite thing about Thanksgiving.

Villarreal and Grosser plan on doing more with their skills for social media, journalistic interviews with a different purpose, rather than for a story.
