Seniors Alexis King and Maddy Wines went to a Jonas Brothers concert on December 3, and ended up meeting the other Jonas Brother who’s not in the band, Franklin Jonas.

Outside of the stadium where his brothers were playing, Franklin was doing an outdoor set. 

Many local people went to the concert at Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, and they were shocked to be up close with Franklin Jonas. 

“I’ve been a fan of the Jonas Brothers quite literally my whole life, and it’s just so cool to go from seeing him on the Jonas TV show to getting to meet him in person,” King said.

According to King, Franklin runs around the stadium during the show to greet fans and take pictures with them.

“I think it’s so cute,” King said.

Many teens today still idolize the celebrities that they grew up with on Disney Channel, Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon when they were younger.

“I’m a fan because I grew up watching him and his brothers,” Wines said. “When he was on Disney channel he was very young, so, in a way, I feel like I’ve been able to watch him grow up and make his own image of himself.”

Other than being a fan of his work on Disney Channel, Wines is also a fan of his music. 

“His music is different from his brothers’, but still kind of the same,” she said. “He has this kinda indie feel to his music, which I really like.”
