With the final two winter sports – boys and girls basketball – wrapping up shortly before spring break, here’s a look at how winter sports teams did.

The girls wrestling team sent five to state, and freshman Presley Beard won the Class 6A title at 120 pounds and finished the season 32-0. Seniors Brooke Downs, Chloe Spears and Analicia Lopez all took fourth. 

The boys wrestling team sent 10 to state and had three placers. Freshman Jayden Reyes was third, senior Quentin Williams fourth and junior Emilio Guana sixth. 

The girls bowling team went to state as a team and finished seventh. Senior Taylor Truesdale placed 13th individually.

The boys swim and dive team had four divers compete at state. Junior Tatum Johnson took eighth, junior James Lyman 14th, and freshman Oliver Saviano qualified for semifinals in his first year diving.
