Teaching may seem like just standing in front of a class, but teacher Amy Dieckgrafe revealed there’s much more happening behind the scenes. “This assignment Interviewing teachers to understand deeper meaning, helps you see how many different perspectives there are in teaching,” Dieckgrafe said, explaining that future educators learn from observations, coursework, and experienced teachers.
Teaching isn’t one-size-fits-all. “There are so many approaches… part of becoming a strong educator is figuring out what fits you and what works for your students.” Teachers must constantly adapt and build a tool-kit of strategies.

Junior Diamond said the interview assignment changed their perspective. “There are lots of things you have to do behind the scenes.”
