As the seniors prepare to graduate, they reflected on their years in high school — their regrets, their memories and everything in between.
From ringing the bell their freshman year to senior sunset, seniors have so many experiences they wish they could go back to or cherish more.
S0 seniors handed out advice for underclassmen before Sunday’s graduation.
“Turn in your assignments on time, and really stay on top of deadlines,” Lilly Araiza said. “School is a lot easier when you aren’t two weeks behind in every class.”
Staying on top of assignments is a big one, but some people go even further and get involved in as many extracurricular activities as they can, like Rebecca Tang, who is on her way to Princeton in the fall.
“Never be afraid to try something new and be uncomfortable,” Tang said.
Others reminded themselves of quotes to live by.
“Through high school, I’ve heavily leaned on the Oscar Wilde quote, ‘to define is to limit,’” Tomie Kerby said. “Don’t categorize yourself. Eperiment and allow yourself to grow.”
But what about confidence?
“Y’all gotta show dominance as a freshman,” Jaden Allen said. “Never doubt yourself and persevere.”
Or maybe the main focus is to live school to the fullest every day.
“Be involved with clubs and sports, and be kind to everyone,” Michaela Blankenship said. “Live in the moment because four years go by quickly.”
