Many people have had paranormal experiences but while many tend to not do anything about it, some people decide to investigate.

“One thing you should know about paranormal investigation is to rule out the most logical things first,” sophomore Nyssa Cullem said.

All across Kansas there are reports of paranormal activity. From Thearosa’s Bridge, CowTown, Hotel Josephine and Fort Leavenworth.

The eerie chill and quiet whispers spark curiosity among students involved in the Midnight Society.

The members come in with experiences of when ghosts or something unearthly paid them a visit.

“When I was six or seven I basically had apparitions appear in my room while I was sleeping and I woke up and they were just there and then I blinked they’re gone,” Junior Jeremiah Campbell said.

Apparitions are ghosts or ghostlike images of a person.

Even the teachers are not safe from spooky paranormal activity.

“I’ve been here at night and had lights just come on by themselves no ones been here, its gross and I hate it absolutely not,” teacher Audrey Allen said.

Students around the school have claimed that they have seen paranormal activity. It seems obvious that the midnight society is necessary to find out what’s wrong.

“There was one time me and all the boys were chilling downstairs and out of nowhere 3 doors flew open at the same time,” Junior Dj Spring said. “I never saw my friends so freaked out, I was still just chilling laughing at them because they never experienced it before, about 5 mins later they shut one by one with a loud slam and they lost it thinking I was messing with them.

“That was just the first time other people besides me have seen the phenomenon happen, so that’s why it’s funny to me. It doesn’t even scare me anymore, it has happened so much over my life. Other weird things include a ball flying across the room, my drum set cymbal falling over, and a vase falling by itself from the middle of the table.”

If you ever find yourself in trouble with a ghost, make sure to let the Midnight Society know.
