The Panthers kick off 2019 home opener at 7 tonight against the Newton Railers (1-1)

The Panthers come into the game 2-0 after dominant wins against Salina Central, who they beat 49-0 and Garden City, who they beat 48-19.

“It’s probably the team’s favorite thing,” junior wide receiver Davin Simms said about playing at home. “We love playing in front of the community and giving them a show.”

And the Panthers rarely disappoint at home as they have won 33 straight home games. Their last loss was Sept. 6, 2013 against Salina South.
