The transfer guys have been talked about plenty of times now.

Especially going into the start of the season.

But with the season coming to an end, here is what they’ve said about their team.

“Just the guys on the team, the character guys that we have, they’re always fun to be around. Great attitudes on the court, push each other every single day in practice, fun to hang out with after,” senior Bryant Mocaby said.

They didn’t just start out with a new team, there were also other new players to the team.

“At first, we really kind of knew each other, but we never played with each other, but as the year went on we became brothers,” senior Emilio Valentin said.

The season may seem short but it’s long enough to form friendships and a sense of brotherhood.

“I love it, I love every single moment of it, it’s awesome. I love every single one of my teammates,” senior Tyler Brown said.

Playing with new people takes practice, but the atmosphere of the team can make a difference.

“It’s fun, they’re definitely a different group of guys than what I’m used to, they’re more close-knit,” junior Jared Mocaby said.

Not just talking about teammates, all the guys immediately say coach Brett Flory is the greatest.

“I love that guy. He’s really brought everybody together with the new team that he has. He’s done a really good job of bringing us together and playing as a team,” Bryant Mocaby said.

Playing throughout four years of high school there’s a lot of coaches, but for some Flory is the best.

“Flory is a great coach, one of the best coaches I’ve ever been around,” Valentin said.

Brown mimicked Valentin’s sentiments of having the best coach in Flory.

“He loves every single one of his players and he loves coaching and he knows what he’s doing,” Brown said.

Flory is not just a great coach, he’s also a great person in general.

“He’s awesome, he always believes in us, he always trusts us, he’s an awesome guy, he cares about us most importantly,” Jared Mocaby said.
