Football cruises past Campus

The Panthers completely controlled Friday’s football game at Campus, earning the 70-13 victory to improve to 4-1.

Derby started off the game quick by scoring on their first drive with a 34-yard run by senior running back Dylan Edwards.

The Panthers scored three more times before the quarter ended, going into the second up 28-0.

Edwards finished with five touchdowns, all in the first half, and 150 rushing yards. Quarterback Brock Zerger had 98 rushing yards and a 33-yard touchdown run.

Campus scored early in the second, but Derby hit right back with a touchdown of its own.

Campus responded then again in the second quarter with another touchdown, but Derby put the game away and scored 35 unanswered.

Derby has won four straight games.
